20 design studios from around the world have worked on each other’s briefs exploring unique phenomenas intrinsic to their cultures. The project culmination ia a collective show exhibiting 40 original artworks, hand-pulled and limited to 15 copies each. United Notions is hosted by The Bakery design studio with general sponsorship from Arjowiggins Creative Papers.
“Gobbledygook”
A word that is used to describe language that is meaningless, or is made unintelligible by excessive use of technical terms.
“Komorebi”
Japan has four seasons, each distinct from one another. The Japanese possess a sensibility to feel physically the nature-inspired emotion as the seasons change. The word “komo-rebi“ shows how the Japanese feel and express nature in a delicate manner.
