For Apple TV’s eight-part series “My Kind of Country”, we designed a title sequence and show graphics that reflect the show’s aim to break down stereotypical conventions of country music and celebrate its international and diverse reach.
The crux of our concept was an infinite zoom effect that cycles through remixed iconography of country music and hints at the identities and homes of the show’s contestants. With this approach to the title sequence’s narrative and our mixed media collages, we could pay homage to the genre while doing justice to the show’s efforts to open its doors to people all around the world.
