THE WAREHOUSE PROJECT
20th ANNIVERSARY REBRAND

Long-time client, The Warehouse Project, returned to us for a rebrand in tandem with a 20th Anniversary campaign that needed to feel timeless, refined, elevated, and confident. A key facet would be that it concreted WHP's status as an institution of the British club scene; a modern classic and pinnacle of club culture.

Based on the client's brief, our instinct was to invert the visual language of a brand that leans more dark and digital, to something that feels more light and analogue, whilst retaining and building upon what we identified as the core WHP brand assets. In keeping with an anniversary, we introduced materials that had a more delicate nature to them in a mix of embossed invitation paper, and a clear acrylic texture to keep a nod to WHP's industrial roots.

Throughout our process we were mindful of WHP's heritage and its roots in the Manchester club scene, which we looked at more broadly, as well as the visual language of mid-century British design icons to draw inspiration from.
